US committed to peaceful solution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

By Trend
US is committed to peaceful solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the US co-chair of the OSCE MG James Warlick said at a press conference in Baku on October 22.
Commenting on the latest statement of the Secretary of State John Kerry, Warlick said that Kerry demonstrated his commitment to work with parties on solution of the conflict.
Secretary of State John Kerry has previously stated the unwillingness of leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia to solve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“It is important that all the parties need to be committed to work further on peaceful solution. I know that Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev is committed to work on negotiations and on the proposals on the table, and to have further discussions with President Sargsyan. We want to follow up on the commitments made in Vienna and Saint Petersburg. There are still issues and elements that need to be discussed. We will work further and discuss this during the next presidents’ summit,” added Warlick.
