The concert program "Oh beautiful summer! Les chansons éternelles" was held at the International Mugham Center on March 30.

The event was organized by the Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan as part of the Francophonie weeks, Trend Life reported.

The festival will last until April 15 and includes various contests, exhibitions, concerts and film screenings.

It was stressed that the festival "Francophone Weeks" is held in Azerbaijan with the participation of the embassies of France, Belgium, Costa Rica, Greece, Hungary, Morocco, Mexico, Moldova, Romania, Switzerland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, as well as the European Union.

Swiss Ambassador to Azerbaijan Philipp Stalder introduced the participants of the concert program and expressed his gratitude to the Director of the International Mugam Center, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Murad Huseynov for support in organizing this event.

Then a concert with the participation of Swiss musicians Marc Aymon and Ephraim Salzmann was presented to the audience. At the concert, Swiss musicians brilliantly synthesized traditional folk songs with contemporary music.

Marc Aymon a passionate singer of travels and art. He is the author of four discs: "The astronaut," "An almond tree in winter", "Marc Aymon" and "Of a single mouth".

His songs have traveled to South America, Iran, the United States, Africa and the entire French-speaking world.

He has given numerous concerts and participated in several prestigious festivals, including the Paléo Festival in Nyon.

Ephraim Salzmann lives and works since childhood with and around music.

For more than 20 years, he has played on the world stage in Valais, Switzerland and Germany.
