Azerbaijani sculptor Teymur Rustamov will present his works in Tajikistan.

The exhibition will open at the Serena Hotel in Dushanbe on March 1, Trend Life reported.

"Tajikistan is a beautiful country with a harsh mountain landscape, but in these seemingly inaccessible mountains there is a striking abundance of precious and semi-precious stones, which are the improvised material of talented Tajik craftsmen and artisans. It is impossible to remain indifferent to the bright colors of the country thanks to the generous sun and water," said Rustamov.

On the eve of the exposition, Ph.D in philosophy, Teymur Daimi noted that the works of almost every artist, with a variety of works and changing themes, styles and techniques always feature the main qualities that distinguish this artist from all other artists. These qualities are only strengthened over time, turning into the artist's conceptual credo. These are peculiar reference points of his creativity on which his art is built and further develops.

He stressed that the works of the Azerbaijani master of visual arts feature such "canonical" qualities as the volume, the weight of the material (one of the author’s favorite materials is stone), the simplicity of the geometric shape, the combination of severe asceticism and sophistication, radical stylization, rationality, symbolism, geometric abstraction, kinetics, synthesis of tradition and modern art.

Teymur Rustamov is a member of the Azerbaijan Union of Artists. He is the owner of the "Tereggi" medal .

His masterpieces have been showcased at the international exhibitions.

Works of the sculptor are kept in the museums and private collections in Azerbaijan, Austria, U.S., UK, Germany, Russia and other countries.
