Indian and Azerbaijani pop stars came together in Baku to celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishment of the India – Azerbaijan Diplomatic relations.
With its festive atmosphere , musical concert themed "Bollywood Night" took place at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex on November 11.
The event, organized by Full House Entertainment (head - Dia Soun Khae) with the assistance of Indian Association in Azerbaijan (President - Sobi T. Abraham), also marked the 70th anniversary of India's independence.
The concert with the participation of Azerbaijani and Indian stars became a significant event in the cultural life of the country, a symbol of friendship between Azerbaijan and India.
The hosts of the evening were Samir Bayramli and Narmina Aghasi.
A festive Food & Shopping Festival was organized as part of the event.
During the festival, guests had a chance to taste world's national dishes.
Addressing the event, the head of Full House Entertainment CEO Dia Soon Khe, President of the Indian Association of Azerbaijan Sobi T. Abraham and others said that the project aims at further development of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and India. Speakers expressed gratitude to the participants and guests of the evening, among whom were cultural figures and arts, representatives of diplomatic missions.
It was stressed that India is a country of magic and mystery, dazzling beauty and exotic charm, and one of the brands of this country is the cinema - Bollywood.
Bollywood films entered the lives of many people of different age categories, thanks to colorful shootings, talented actors and an exciting story.
There has always been a special love for Indian cinema in Azerbaijan.
Indian films are always emotional love stories, featuring inimitable dance and musical productions, an abundance of colors that can not be found in the cinema of other countries.
Therefore, Indian cinema is watched and loved by a multimillion audience.
Indian pop singer Alisha Chinai performed at "Bollywood Night". She is known for her albums, as well as playback singing in Hindi cinema.
The singer performed her hits "Made in India", "Zoobies Zooby", "Mujhe Log Bole", "Raja Hindustani", "Sona Sona Roop Hai", "Kajra Re", songs from famous Indian movie "Disco Dancer", "Dance, Dance", "Mr. India" etc.
The star Ambassador of Bollywood in Azerbaijan, soloist of the Azerbaijan TV and radio, People's Artist Faig Aghayev delighted audience with his performance.
Indian songs from famous films were performed by Azerbaijani performers - Jeyhun Bakinsky, duet Kamran Gasanli and Konul Kerimova, Farid Hasanov, as well as young singers Nurai Rahman, and Svetlana Aslanova.
Dance groups "Super Dancer", " Ocaq Sport Club "," Aysel "," Stage "," Energy Music Group "," Grazy Eyes " and Mehpar Dzhabiyev mesmerized viewers.
The art director of the evening and dances was Etibar Guliyev.
Fashion designer Leyla Ahmadova showed her stunning collection at the event. The splendid outfits were presented by models of "Venera" Modeling Agency.
In the end, Faig Aghayev and Alisha Chinai performed the hit "Made in India".
Throughout the day, artists were received with great applause and joy.
