Azerbaijan's state committee elected as member of EuroGeographics

The State Committee on Property Issues of Azerbaijan has been elected a member of the EuroGeographics Association, the committee's report published on June 27 said.

According to the report, during the meeting of the General Assembly of EuroGeographics held on June 11-12 in the Belgian city of Leuven, it was decided to accept several new organisations including the Real Estate Cadastre and Technical Inventory Centre of the State Committee on Property Issues as active members.

In addition, the association accepted British "Her Majesty's Land Registry" agency and the National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia.

EuroGeographics is a non-profit organisation that unites the European national institutions in the sphere of cartography, real estate registration and cadastre activity. The association includes 59 institutions from 46 countries.
