The CLAAS company will train Azerbaijani farmers in the technology of conservation of high-quality cattle fodder, the International Export Manager of CLAAS Global Sales GmbH, Wassili Seider, told Trend.
Seider noted that the efficient CLAAS technologies, which are represented by a wide range of forage harvesters and tractors, will be used for fodder conservation.
"When preparing a balanced fodder, farmers need to take into account the ratio of energy and protein, as well as proper composition of the fodder, that is, the quantities of starch and fiber. The key factors in forage conservation as exemplified by silage are the correct time period for harvesting, grain fragmentation degree, compaction of the fodder, use of a protective covering during tamping, etc. The combination of all these factors is possible only with the use of highly efficient machines with maximum power," Seider said.
Increasing milk productivity in Azerbaijan, according to Seider, is mainly dependent on round-the-clock provision of high-quality fodder, since the composition of a healthy fodder is a major factor for productivity.
“CLAAS presents a wide range of machines for conservation of high-quality fodders, taking into account the different needs of customers. The product line of CLAAS company includes forage harvesters, pickup presses and the full offer of the green line, as well as telescopic wheel loaders that optimize logistics,” Seider said.
The international export manager of CLAAS Global Sales GmbH company believes that the innovations in the agricultural sector play an important role and streamline business processes, which result in increased productivity.
"Our company pays great attention to innovations and allocates 250 million euros annually for the improvement of the existing technologies and development of new ones. One of the examples is the JAGUAR forage harvester, which is optionally equipped with three types of grain crushers, a stone protection system STOP ROCK, an automated loading system AUTO FILL, harvesting crop’s moisture sensor and TELEMATICS system," Seider said.
Seider said the agricultural market of Azerbaijan is developing, and the main task of CLAAS company is to keep up with local agricultural producers, offering optimal solutions for the sake of development, growth and profits of farmers.
