Central Asia Gas Forum underway in Kazakhstan

Central Asia Gas Forum is being held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on June 25-26.

Being a key event of the gas industry dedicated to the realization of the current and future gas related projects on the territory of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the event brought together gas industry representatives from Azerbaijan, Iran, China, Russia, India, the EU, in addition to the countries of Central Asia.

Kazakhstan's Oil and Gas Ministry, the specialists of the Turkmengaz, LUKOIL Uzbekistan, Uzbekneftegaz, KazMunaiGas, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, Tethys Petroleum, General Electric, KazTransGas, ERIELL Group, ILF, Stroytransgaz, Pietro Fiorentini, Synthos Group, Schlumberger Information Solutions, GAIL (India) Ltd., WorleyParsons Uzbekistan Engineering, DNV GL are participating in the event.

Moreover, the diplomatic missions of Germany, India, Austria, UK and USA are attending the forum.

The forum highlights such topics as 'The Central Asian countries' gas strategies', 'Central Asia's resource potential', 'The presence of Central Asian countries on the European gas markets', 'China's influence on the new Central Asia's gas strategies', 'Prospects of the Trans-Asian gas pipelines' and 'Gas processing projects in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan'.
