Quake hits Armenian-Georgian border
An earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale was recorded at the Armenian-Georgian border zone, 9km to the north-east of Dmanisi. The strength of the earthquake was four points at the epicentre, Armenia Today said.
According to the Rescue Service of Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the hypocentre of tremors was at a depth of 10 km.
The earthquake was not recorded on Armenian territory.
