Cyprus talks underway in Geneva

An international conference on Cyprus is underway in Geneva under the auspices of the United Nations, the Anadolu Agency reports.
The event’s agenda includes one of the six main points of the Cyprus negotiations, namely, security and safeguards.
The negotiations on the settlement of the Cyprus issue resumed in May 2015 and are being held with mediation of the UN secretary general’s special adviser on Cyprus.
