Georgian budget revenues jump

Revenues transferred to the Georgian state budget amounted to
6.025 billion lari ($2.5 billion) in January-September 2015, or
103.1 percent of the forecast amount for the first nine months of
2015, according to a nine-month budget review submitted to the
Georgian parliament, Sputnik agency reported.
Tax revenues transferred to the Georgian state budget for the first
nine months of 2015 amounted to 5.602 billion lari (some $2.3
billion), or 2.2 percent more than the forecast for
January-September, reaching 75.7 percent of the annual plan.
The budget for 2016 will be calculated based on three-percent
economic growth.
The state budget plan on tax revenues from January to September was
exceeded by 118 million lari (some $42.9 million). This figure is
11.2 percent higher than that of the same period in 2014.
