Russian energy minister due in Tehran

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak is expected to visit
Iran on December 13.
The announcement was made by Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan
Dzhagaryan in a meeting with the chairman of Iran Chamber of
Commerce, the chamber’s website reported November 28.
According to Russian ambassador, Novak will be accompanied by a
trade delegation and will attend the Iran-Russia Joint Economic
Committee. The committee’s Iranian side will be headed by ICT
Minister Mahmoud Vaezi.
Iran and Russia have also set a goal to achieve a bilateral trade
volume of $4 billion per year.
Iran and Russia recently signed an agreement which will facilitate
visa issuance for tradesmen on both sides.
