Baku-ISESCO ties in Focus
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
Altwaijri praised the activity of Azerbaijan within the ISESCO, as well as its contributions to implementation of aim and purposes of the Organization. He also said Azerbaijan`s intercultural and interreligious dialogue experience was a sample to the world.
Speaking about the Baku 2015 First European Games, the Secretary General added he would attend the opening ceremony of the Games.
Mammadyarov, in turn, stressed the importance of strengthening the solidarity in Muslim world saying, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and ISESCO was an importance platform for discussing and seeking the ways of the issues faced in Islamic world.
