Youth strategy in focus
Baku hosted the next meeting of Public Council on Work with
Youth under the Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Ministry. The meeting
participants discussed implementation of the “Development Strategy
of Azerbaijani youth in 2015-2025,AzerTag state news agency
reported.
The discussions were attended by Ali Hasanov, Head of the
Social-Political Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential
Administration, Azad Rahimov, Youth and Sport Minister and
representatives of youth organizations.
Propaganda of the ideology of Azerbaijanism and political activity
of youth, expansion of international cooperation, public activity
of youth and students, development of human capital, scientific
activity of youth, youth occupancy, entrepreneurial activity of
youth and other questions were on the agenda.
Nureddin Mehdiyev, Chairman of the Public Council on Work with
Youth spoke of the importance of youth policy being implemented in
the country and its achievements.
Minister Rahimov highly appreciated the Strategy approved by the
Azerbaijani president.
New regulations were adopted and relevant permanent commissions
created at the meeting.
