Azerbaijan Airlines buys another Embraer aircraft
"Azerbaijan Airlines" purchased a second Embraer-190 aircraft, spokesman for Azerbaijan Airlines Maharram Safarli said on July 24.
"The second Embraer-190 aircraft has been already delivered to Baku," Safarli said.
He added that the company will receive four more aircraft produced by the Brazilian company Embraer (two Embraer-170 and two Embraer-190) by late 2013.
Four new tankers and five ferries have been acquired over the last five years.
Contracts were signed and 16 passenger "Boeing", "Airbus" and "Embraer" aircraft, as well as three helicopters were purchased between 2008 and 2012.
