President Aliyev inaugurates winery in Gabala
As a part of his visit to Gabala, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Thursday opened a winery of "Aspi-Agro" LLC here, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The Head of State was informed that the construction of the plant started in July, 2010. It has a processing capacity of 1,000 tons of grapes a year, but the figure is expected to increase in the future.
The Head of State viewed a photo gallery reflecting care and attention by national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to development of private sector, as well as vine-growing in the country.
President Aliyev pressed a button to launch the Gabala winery.
The facility has an Italian-made equipment, as well as a two-storey administrative building, a lab, a canteen, a conference hall and a guest house.
The President praised the work done here and wished every success to the winery workers.
