Corporate social responsibility conference to be held in Baku Nov. 12
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), UN Global Compact Local Network (GCLN), National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers') Organizations of Azerbaijan and PwC Azerbaijan (GCLN Sustainability Partner), in cooperation with UNICEF Azerbaijan and International Labour Organization (ILO) will organize the Corporate Social Responsibility/Global Compact Conference on November 12.
The conference will be followed by a two-day Global Initiative Reporting (GRI) qualification training delivered by PwC Azerbaijan on November 13-14.
The main objective of the conference is to refresh the knowledge on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) among public and private sector, bring best practices to Azerbaijan, generate awareness raising process and promote the UN Global Compact principles. The conference will also demonstrate the excellence in social innovation with a focus on social, economic and environmental sustainability and attempt to identify and recognize outstanding contribution and extra achievements by individuals and corporations following the core values of CSR.
The speakers of the conference include senior level representatives of the government of Azerbaijan and international public and private organizations, CSR think-tanks and experts.
