Eurasian Development Bank corrects mistake related to Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity

Eurasian Development Bank has corrected the mistake on its website related to Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity after Trend’s appeal.
Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was not indicated as Azerbaijan’s territory on the map published on the bank’s website.
Earlier, in response to Trend’s query for correcting the mistake, the Eurasian Development Bank said that the map on its website doesn’t envisage geographic accuracy.
"This map is a visual material and its purpose is to show the number of countries that are members to the bank. It does not express any opinion regarding the legal status of any country, territory and/or administrative unit, nor does it determine delimitation of borders,” said the bank.
