American Chamber of Commerce hosts its 9th ball in Baku

American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) hosted its ninth annual Black&White Ball for members and friends in downtown Baku on October 5, the AmCham website said.
The tremendous event is the highlight of the AmCham social calendar. The fashion journal Vogue was the theme of this year's spectacular evening of elegance; there were also a fashion show of the new collection of the famous atelier "Jan" and jewelry of Faro by Ant Hill, as well as music and dancing.
With the unprecedented number of 551 guests, including U.S. Ambassador Richard Morningstar with his spouse, a number of other ambassadors and high-ranking government officials attended the ball, which took place in the spacious ballroom of Fairmont Baku at the Flame Towers.
Faith Morningstar, the spouse of the US ambassador, said, "The ball was truly a ball! Everyone looked so fabulous. The decorations in the foyer were sensational. The ongoing video in the dining room was so much fun. The food was delicious. The fashion show (was) electric. Everyone had such a good time. There was something very special in the air. How fabulous that something as special as that happens every year!"
The gold sponsors of the event were Nar mobile and PASHA Bank. The silver sponsors of the event were Baker Hughes and FARO by Ant Hill. The bronze sponsors were Lufthansa and JW Marriott, Philosophy and Jumeirah Bilgah Beach, Holcim (Azerbaijan) OJSC and PwC.
