Azerbaijani singers excelled themselves yet again with another wonderful concert in the Fountain Square.
Samira Allahverdiyeva, Sami Oruj, Aysel Alizadeh, Jeyla Alizadeh, Aigul Safarova, Ainur Aliyeva, Ali Aliyev, Nigar Suleymanova, Fuad Asadov, Syama Heydarova, Rashad Ismail, "Renessans" music band and others performed their songs for guests and residents of Baku, Trend Life reported.
The theatre "Nur" staged the scenes from the old Azerbaijani films "Uşaqlığın son gecəsi" ("Last Night of Childhood") and "Bir cənub şəhərində" ("In One Southern City").
The main aim of the Retro Baku project is to ensure colorful and interesting leisure time of residents and guests of Baku, and to revive the tradition of holding such kind of concerts, which took place in Baku in the 60's - 70's of the last century.
The event is organized by the Baku City Main Department of Culture and Tourism.
A series of unforgettable concerts will run on weekends until September 15.
