Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) has held a meeting with the Portuguese delegation, led by Ricardo Bastos Salgado, Head of the Basnco Espirito Santo (BES) Bank.

The meeting focused on the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijani and Portuguese entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the meeting, AZPROMO Head Rufat Mammadov informed the guests on Azerbaijan's economic success, large-scale regional projects of the country, favorable business and investment climate for entrepreneurs, as well as AZPROMO's support to for local entrepreneurs.

Salgado, in turn, spoke about the expansion of ties between business leaders of the two countries. He also noted the importance of bilateral meetings and business forums in the development of the bilateral relations.

Then, he made ​​a speech about the economy and the investment climate in Portugal.

Later, the companies representing Portugal, held presentations on their activities, and also answered questions of their Azerbaijani counterparts.
