Junior taekwondo fighters to compete for World Championship medal
Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters will compete at the World Championship to be held in Korea on August 23.
Azerbaijani men`s squad will include Elgun Hamidov, Bahruz Guluzade (-37kg), Ziya Khalilov (-41kg), Samir Maharramov (-45kg), Ruslan Seyidov (-49kg), Yunis Mammadzade (-53kg), Javid Sultanov (+65kg), while team of female fighters will include Ofeliya Allahverdiyeva (-29kg), Minaya Akbarova (-33kg), Sevda Pirseyidova (-37kg), Zalika Babayeva (-44kg) and Narmin Suleymanova (-47kg).
The team will be led by head coach Sabuhi Zulfugarov and coach Senan Hashimov.
Azerbaijani fighters will return home on August 28.
