Turkish Air Force bombing PKK in northern Iraq

Turkish Air Force is bombing the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorist group in northern Iraq, said a message from the General Staff of Turkey’s Armed Forces.
Turkish Air Force has destroyed 40 positions of the terrorists, according to the message.
The last time Turkish Air Force was bombing the PKK positions on June 17.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has continued for over 25 years and has claimed more than 40,000 lives. The UN and the European Union list the PKK as a terrorist organization.
