Ilham Aliyev opens facilities in regions

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the “Qalaalti Hotel & SPA” health and recreation complex in Shabran.
The head of state was informed that the complex was situated under a cliff near Ciraggala, an ancient historic and cultural monument of Azerbaijan.
The new facility is built as part of the Qalaalti Resort. The complex includes a hotel that is capable of accommodating 354 guests in 171 rooms, along with villas and cottages, spanning a total of 7.1 hectares. It also houses restaurants, bars, garages, a spa, and Health Center.
President Aliyev also met with staff of the complex, and congratulated them on the opening of the facility.
Following the event, the President evaluated resort conditions and the high-quality construction work at the complex.
President Aliyev gave relevant recommendations and instructions.
The head of state has also attended the opening of the Siyazan-Mashrif highway.
The road, which connects several residential areas, had been in poor condition. Seven million and a subsequent 5.7 million manats were allocated from the Contingency Fund for the repair of the road under the head of state's orders.
Repairs began in October 2012, and were completed this May.
The highway, which is 5 meters in width, was laid with 10-11 centimeters of asphalt.
There are modern engineering and technical installations along the road. About 4,700 people will use Siyazan-Mashrif highway, which is 37.1 km in length and links 20 residential areas.
