Quake jolts northern regions
An earthquake measuring 3 on the Richter scale occurred in Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan, the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences reported on October 10.
The tremors were registered in Khachmaz region, 20 kilometers to the east from Quba region at 14:19 (local time) on October 10.
No victim or destructions reported.
The Khachmaz city is located in the north of Azerbaijan, 157 km from Baku.
