Turkish journalists visit Azerbaijan
Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Press Council Aflatun Amashov has met a Turkish delegation led by deputy chairman of the Journalists` Association Mehmet Ali Dim.
Amashov provided an insight into the activities of the Press Council. He said one of the goals of the council is to study complaints of members of the general public.
He underlined the Press Council has always paid a special attention to international relations, adding "relations with the media outlets and the Journalists` Organization of brotherly Turkey are very important in this context". Amashov hailed the role of the Turkish mass media in the world media space.
Ali Dim underlined the importance of the visit in terms of familiarization with Azerbaijani media.
Along with Mehmet Ali Dim, the Turkish delegation includes Board member of the Sports Writers` Association Necati Satana, editor of the New Alanya newspaper Ferit Kesen and member of the Alanya Newspaper Association Ibrahim Baris Basar.
