Azerbaijani President receives US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Assistant administrator of USAID
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on Wednesday
Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Democracy,
Human Rights and Labor, at the United States Department of State
Thomas Melia, and Assistant administrator of the Bureau for Europe
and Eurasia, United States Agency for International Development
(USAID) Mrs. Alexander Paige, AzerTac state news agency
reported.
During the meeting, they hailed development of bilateral relations
between the two countries on different directions.
They noted the successful activity of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces
as part of International peacekeeping mission.
They also discussed the current state of and prospects for the
Azerbaijan-US cooperation.
