Kapelhaus in Baku to host Handmade Festival

Organized by the “Bazak” Creative People Association, a Handmade Festival will be held in Baku.
The event will take place in the “Kapelhaus” Azerbaijan-German Cultural Center in Baku, located on 28 May street, 35 at 11:00 am.
Konul Allahverdiyeva and Tarana Jafarova are the organizers of this interesting and unique festival.
The event, that will last from April 24 to 25 is devoted to an “Antiquity and Modernity” theme. The entrance is free.
A wide range of works including sewing, knitting, wood carving, soap making, carpet-weaving, drawing and so on will be featured at the festival.
Some 40 masters are expected to put their work on display. The participants from different age groups will get together to bring the country’s ancient traditions into the present.
The participants include people engaged in various fields such as students, office workers, housewives, pensioners etc.
The “Bazak”s first festival was held in June 2014, and aroused great interest among the visitors as well as the masters of applied art. The organizers decided to held the festival in the country’s regions.
