Azerbaijani theatre becomes IETM member
The Baku Municipal Theatre has become a member of IETM - International network for contemporary performing arts.
IETM is a membership organisation, which stimulated the quality, development and contexts of contemporary performing arts in a global environment, by initiating and facilitating professional networking and communication, the dynamic exchange of information, know-how transfer and presentations of examples of good practice.
Created in 1981 and based in Brussels, IETM set up a small professional secretariat in 1989 and registered its statute as an international non-profit association constituted under Belgian law.
Funded by national bodies such as the Flemish Community of Belgium and the Dutch Cultural Ministry, as well as the European Commission and the European Parliament, it receives project support from time to time from foundations such as the European Cultural Foundation and from other national ministries.
