An art exhibition titled "Winter Fairy Tale" was held in Baku over three days in March, bringing together hundreds of young artists, AzerNEWS reports.

The project was organized under the motto "Stay in touch with nature, depict its mysterious beauty!" and aimed to inspire children and young people to develop a more attentive attitude toward nature, to showcase its magic in different seasons, and to spark interest in preserving it.

Children, teenagers, and young people aged 8 to 21 took part in the creative project. More than 1,000 applications were submitted from various parts of the country. Participants presented over 1,500 winter landscapes reflecting the atmosphere of winter evenings, snowy scenes, winter views around us, the "sleep of nature," as well as imaginary winter landscapes.

As a result of the exhibitions, 34 of the best authors were awarded gifts. Their works have been included in the collection of the Khatai Children's Art Gallery and will be exhibited at future exhibitions and various cultural events.

Interestingly, the project also attracted international participants: a group of schoolchildren from Estonia submitted their works and received certificates of participation.

The organizers announced that a new exhibition dedicated to the next season will soon be announced under the same motto.

According to them, such projects help foster a more careful and inspired attitude toward nature among the younger generation.

The organizers were the Azerbaijan Artists' Union, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, the Khatai Children’s Art Gallery, and the Khatai Arts Center, with the support of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, Khatai District Executive Power, and the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
