An exhibition of talented artist Jalal Aghayev has been opened at Baku Museum Center and Khatai Art Center in Baku.
Entitled "Seven beauties", the exhibition is dedicated to "The Year of Islamic Solidarity" in Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by prominent art and cultural figures, talented youth and admirers of the artist's creativity, Trend Life reported.
In their remarks, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalat Valiyev, Secretary of Azerbaijan's Union of Artists, Agali Ibrahimov, People's artist Jamil Mufidzadeh, honored art worker, art historian Ziyadkhan Aliyev congratulated the artist and wished him new creative achievements.
They stressed that Jalal Aghayev is one of the most talented young Azerbaijani artists. He is not only a great painter, but also a talented graphic artist.
Jalal Aghayev, in turn, expressed gratitude to all the participants, and invited to see the exposition.
More than 40 paintings and ten graphic works were displayed at the exhibition. The master's canvases have literally absorbed attention of all art lovers by their poetic inspiration, with elegant lines and harmony of colors.
The exhibition will last until April 13.
Jalal Aghayev was born on September13, 1983 in Baku. He graduated from the faculty of "Decorative and fine arts" at Azerbaijan State art school named after Azim Azimzade (1998-2002) and the faculty of "Fine arts" at Azerbaijan Sate Academy of Fine Arts (2006-2010) .
In 2010-2015, Jalal Aghayev led a workshop (speciality "Graphics") at the State Academy of Arts, and since 2015 he is a teacher, director of "Pictorial art and graphics" course.
Since 2009, he is a member of Azerbaijan's Union of Artists. Since 2010, he has participated in several exhibitions held both in Azerbaijan and abroad. His works have been displayed in Turkey, Ukraine and Russia.
