Recognition of Azerbaijani committee's lab test certificate to remove food export obstacles
The food testing Laboratory of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan was accredited by the Accreditation Body of Germany, DakkS, a statement of the State Committee released on Monday said.
Experts from the testing laboratory of DakkS evaluated the infrastructure and modern equipment of the Laboratory of the State Committee with high marks, and it was decided that all the tests were conducted in compliance with the international standard ISO / IEC 17025:2005.
Recognition of the test certificate of the State Committtee's lab should abolish the obstacles faced by Azerbaijani food manufacturers while exporting their products to EU member states, expand export opportunities and create favorable conditions for domestic producers at foreign markets.
