Azerbaijan to chair BSEC next year

Azerbaijan will chair the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in 2018.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry announced about this in a statement on the outcome of 2017 foreign policy on December 28.
"In the Summit Declaration dedicated to the 25th anniversary Summit of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation held in Istanbul on 22 March, inclusion of a number of provisions reflecting the interests of our country have been achieved. From the second half of 2018, the Republic of Azerbaijan will chair the BSEC," reads the statement.
BSEC was established in 1999 and includes 12 countries: Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
