An auction for placement of 10 million manats worth short-term bonds of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance will be held at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) Sept. 11, the BSE said.

The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry will provide timely funding of pensions, grants, salaries, scholarships and other social payments in the second half of 2016, Minister Samir Sharifov said at the enlarged meeting of the Ministry’s Collegiums.

T-bills of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance with the ISIN number AZ0102001515 were placed at the Baku Stock Exchange on June 21, 2016, the Baku Stock Exchange said.

The Azerbaijani finance ministry is preparing for holding the road-show bonds for the Southern Gas Corridor on the international market in early February, Samir Sharifov, the Azerbaijani Finance Minister, said at press-conference Jan. 28.

Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance expressed its readiness to allocate additional funding of five million manats to the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies with the aim of supporting start-up projects.

Salaries of social security institutions' employees in Azerbaijan will be increased by an average of 10 percent from September.

Azerbaijan's Finance Ministry has started to provide e-services in the insurance industry, head of the State Insurance Supervision Service under the Ministry Namik Khalilov told Trend news agency.
