Turkmenistan approves regional documents on security of Caspian Sea

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved international documents signed on August 12, 2018 in Aktau, Kazakhstan during the Summit of the Heads of the Caspian littoral states, Trend reports referring to published approvals.
They include two protocols regarding concerted actions by border agencies and cooperation in the fight against terrorism, as an addition to the agreement of November 18, 2010 on security cooperation in the Caspian Sea.
A delegation of Turkmenistan took part in a meeting of delegations of Defense Ministries of the Caspian littoral states held recently in Astrakhan, Russia.
