The world premiere of the concert for balaban and symphony orchestra by a young Azerbaijani composer, pianist and conductor Abuzar Manafzade, was held at the Sunset Center in the city of Monterey (California, USA).

The gala concert was attended by the Monterey Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by the famous American conductor of Azerbaijani origin Farhad Khudiyev, the winner of international competitions Nijat Massimov (balaban), People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Natig Shirinov (naghara) and Abuzar Manafzade himself (piano). The performance of the musicians was greeted with the applause of the audience.

Abuzar Manafzade is pianist, composer and conductor. He is a winner of many international competitions, music festivals. He studied at the Vienna State Conservatory in the class of conducting. As a pianist, he continues his education in the magistracy at the University of Anton Bruckner in Linz.
