Philosophy of Theater in the 21st century to be discussed in Baku

The 5th Baku International Theater Conference will be held in Azerbaijan's capital on November 5-6.
The main theme of this year’s conference "Philosophy of Theater in the 21st century: the Concept of Existence" will be discussed by more than 150 experts from 40 countries, such as Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cuba, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lithuania, Macedonia, Morocco, Netherlands, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South African Republic, Spain, Sudan, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, U.S., Uzbekistan, Vietnam, among others.
The event is organized under the auspices of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture, the National Academy of Sciences and the Azerbaijan Union of Theater Workers, Trend Life reported.
Various master classes, workshops and trainings will be held by international theater experts within the framework of BITC-2018.
The Baku International Theater Conference is organized according to the "State Theater of Azerbaijan in 2009-2019", approved by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated May 18, 2009.
The opening ceremony of the conference will be held on November 5 at the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater.
The ceremony will be attended by the president of the International Theater Institute Mohammad Alfham (United Arab Emirates), UNESCO Peace Artist Ali Mahdi (Sudan), chairman of the Commission for Communications and Public Relations of the International Puppet Theaters Katarina Klančnik Kocutar, rector of the Russian Institute of Theater Arts Grigori Zaslavsky (Russia), president of the International Association of Theater for Children and Young People Yvette Hardie.
