KfW allots 105.5m euros to Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan's government signed five loan agreements with the German Development Bank (KfW) on Thursday, Trend news agency reported.
Documents were signed by KfW's General Director for Europe and Asia Roland Siller, Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov, Chairman of Azersu (the country's national water operator) Gorkmaz Huseynov and Chairman of Azerbaijani State Committee for Property Affairs Kerem Hasanov, Azersu said in its report.
Under signed agreements, KfW will allocate 105.5 million euros to Azerbaijan, 102.5 million euros of which will be in loans, 3 million euros will be in grants.
About 102 million euros will be allocated to Azersu for the implementation of projects for the improvement of the water supply and sanitation systems, 3.5 million euros will go to the State Committee for Property Affairs to implement cadastral projects.
