Leading analysts of CIS, Europe to mull in Baku global trends, volatility in oil markets

Moody’s Annual Azerbaijan Summit will take place May 23 in Baku, Trend reports with reference to the agency.
The event will be attended by leading analysts and investors from the CIS countries and Europe, who will discuss global trends and changes in the dynamics of the development of regional markets.
Also, the event participants will discuss volatility in the oil markets, global and local prospects in the energy sector, credit profiles of banks in CIS countries, government support for banks, fiscal policy challenges and other issues.
The latest Moody’s report noted that the Azerbaijani banking system shows the highest capital adequacy ratio in the CIS, which is mainly due to the state support provided to the country’s biggest bank, the International Bank of Azerbaijan.
The previous summit was held May 24, 2018, in Baku.
