Azerbaijani GMs to join IMSA Elite Mind Games
Azerbaijani grandmasters Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Rauf Mammadov will vie for medals at the IMSA Elite Mind Games 2016 to be held in Jiangsu, China from February 25 to March 3.
The event is hosted by IMSA organization and the Sports management center of Chinese Sports General Administration, and organized by Jiangsu Sports Bureau and Huai-an government.
The tournament will bring together 143 players and 77 technical officers from 43 countries to participate in varieties of board games including Bridge, GO, Chess, Chinese Chess and Draughts.
Totally, there would be 23 individual events which divided into five categories, Azertac state news agency reported.
