Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters win 20 medals
The Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters won the largest number of medals at the 5th Alexandria`s International Open Championships in Egypt.
Azerbaijan`s haul included 20 medals, in cluding five gold medals. Gold medals came from Samir Aydinov weighing iat 54kg, Samir Javadli at 58kg, Fariz Aliyev at 68kg and Ramin Azizov at 80kg.
Azeri female fighter Farida Azizova also climbed on to the winner`s rostrum in the 67kg weight category.
The tournament brought together 500 fighters from 13 countries.
