Georgia, Switzerland ink agreement on investment promotion

Georgia and Switzerland signed an agreement on investment promotion and mutual protection in Tbilisi, on June 3.
The document was signed by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President of Swiss Confederation Didier Burkhalter, who is on visit to Georgia, the prime minister's press service reported.
As Garibashvili noted after signing ceremony, mutual agreement with Switzerland will create a steady legal base for development of economics and business activity that will promote expanding cooperation.
The parties also discussed the necessity of strengthening cooperation between two countries and the reforms made in Georgia recently.
One of the main topics of the meeting was signing the association agreement with EU which will move the relationship between Georgian and EU to quite a new level.
The signing of the association agreement between Georgia and EU scheduled for June 27.
