Iran's supreme leader: West plotting to create divisions among Muslims
The West is plotting to create divisions among Muslim nations in
order to hinder their progress, the leader of Iran's Islamic
Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said.
He made the remarks addressing Iranian officials and ambassadors of
Islamic countries, ISNA news agency reported.
Iran's leader said unity among Muslims is of utmost importance
today.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the West wants to pit Muslim nations
against each other in order to distract them from more important
issues.
He further said it's not believable that the intelligence services
of western powers have nothing to do with Islamophobia and repeated
insults to Islam and the prophet.
He went on to note that today the world is beginning to realize
that nothing but Islam can bring prosperity for mankind.
Ayatollah Khamenei said one can hear the voice of Islam wherever
there's a call for justice.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the comments on the occasion of Mab'ath,
that's the appointment of Mohammad as Islam's Prophet.
