Iran's interior ministry holds urgent meeting following terror attacks
By Trend
Iranian Interior Ministry has held an extraordinary meeting over the terror attacks that stunned Tehran on June 7, Trend’s correspondent in Tehran reported.
Two separate attacks took place in Tehran on June 7, as reports said several armed people tried to break their way into the parliament building. Meanwhile, another attack took place at the Imam Khomeini Shrine.
Despite the attacks, the MPs in the parliament have completed the today’s open session.
Ardabil representative Hemayat Mirzadeh told Trend he and his colleagues are attending their regular sessions in the parliament.
“One of the four men who attacked the Iranian Parliament has been arrested,” he told Trend.
