Crude price on world markets

The price of oil has again fallen on the world markets.

On the New York Stock Exchange NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange) cost of the US Light crude oil decreased $2.18 to stand at $30.91. Price of the Brent crude oil at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) fell $2.25 to trade at $33.48.

SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department reported that the price of a barrel of Azeri Light crude oil decreased $0.28 to stand at $35.78 on the world markets.

SOCAR produced 8,159,100 tons of oil in 2015. About 41,583,006 million tons of oil was produced in Azerbaijan last year, the company said.

The company produced 6,870,300,000 cubic meters of gas in 2015. A total of 29, 048,600,000 cubic meters of gas was produced in Azerbaijan last year.
