President Aliyev receives Italian minister
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Pier Carlo Padoan, the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The importance of holding the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank in Baku was emphasized during the meeting, and the parties noted high-level organization of the event.
The sides underlined the role of the meeting in terms of the expansion of economic relations among countries.
They noted that Azerbaijani-Italian ties reached the level of strategic partnership and were developing successfully. The sides discussed the issues related to the expansion of the bilateral cooperation in political, economic, cultural, energy, trade, tourism, agricultural and other areas.
