Azerbaijani MPs to raise Metsamor issue at OSCE assembly

The danger posed by the Metsamor nuclear power plant in Armenia will be raised at the 12th winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE, member of the Azerbaijani delegation, MP Eldar Ibrahimov said.
According to him, he plans to raise the issue at a meeting of the Economic Committee of the OSCE during the winter session, which will be held in Vienna on February 20-21.
"It will be emphasized during the meeting that the Metsamor NPP is in disrepair, and in this regard there are appropriate comments of the International Atomic Energy Agency," Ibrahimov said.
The Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova will participate in the session of the OSCE PA. The delegation includes the chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy Eldar Ibrahimov, chairman of the Committee for Human Rights Rabiyat Aslanova, deputy chairman of the committee for regional issues Fattah Heydarov, MPs Agalar Veliyev and Azay Guliyev.
Meetings of the committees of the OSCE PA on Political affairs and security, Economic affairs, Technology and environment, Democracy, Human rights and Humanitarian issues will also take place within the session.
