President, first lady tour sports and youth exhibitions in Baku
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the 1st Azerbaijan
International Sport, Sports Equipment and Wear Exhibition, and the
4th Republican Exhibition of Youth Organizations in Baku on
Wednesday, AzerTAc reported.
The Azerbaijani president, who was accompanied by First Lady
Mehriban Aliyeva, was informed that the first international sport
exhibition featured achievements of Azerbaijani athletes, as well
as the country's work in the development of sports.
As for the exhibition of youth organizations, it was organized as
part of a series of events under "Azerbaijani youth in 2011-2015"
state program, which was approved by the presidential order.
The exhibition highlights the activities of youth organizations in
Azerbaijan, particularly their projects and events, as well as
their role in the country`s social life.
The President and First Lady viewed the pavilions of the
exhibitions.
