Azerbaijani mugham singer, Egyptian band give concert at int'l festival in Baku
Azerbaijani mugham singer Alim Gasimov and Egyptian Al Advar Ensemble have given a concert as part of the 3rd International Mugham Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijan`s Union of Composers.
Al Advar performed several Egyptian national songs. The ensemble`s soloist is Aicha Redouane. She was accompanied by Habib Yammine, Hafide Reduan Benckeik, Nabil Abdmouler and Saleh el-Din sayed Refead Muhammed.
The second part of the concert featured performance by Alim Gasimov and his daughter Fargana. Accompanied by Zakir Valiyev on tar, Rauf Islamov on kamancha, Rafael Asgarov on balaban and Javidan Nabiyev on naghara, they performed Bayatı-Shiraz.
