Every woman is a goddess. History is rich in powerful women whose striking beauty inspired many artists.
The beauty of a woman, her wisdom have always been glorified in poetry and prose, reflected in the canvases of great artists.
A unique exhibition dedicated to women solemnly opened at Art Tower Gallery on April 17, Trend Life reported.
The event was organized as part of a series of events held by Arts Council Azerbaijan in connection with the 85th anniversary of the birth of the Azerbaijani artist, animated film director Nazim Mammadov (1934-2004).
The exhibition consists of paintings from personal collections.
For example, the works of Nazim Mammadov, whose name is inextricably linked with the most beloved domestic cartoons, was presented to the general public for the first time.
Eldar Babazade, whose work is displayed on the exhibition billboard, also exhibited his paintings.
Works of Rafail Aliyev, Namig Ismayilzade and other artists were showcased as part of the project.
The exhibition aroused the great interest of the guests, among whom there were representatives of diplomatic missions and creative youth, culture and art workers.
The exhibition will last until April 27. Admission is free.
