The positive dynamics are recorded in the production of wheat in the agricultural parks under the Economic Zones Development Agency, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said, Azernews reports.

The minister noted that in 2020, 35,200 tons of wheat were harvested on the grain fields of the agro parks, whilst in 2021, this number increased by 56 percent to 55,000 tons.

Mikayil Jabbarov added that 88,800 tons of wheat were harvested in 2022, which is 61 percent more compared to 2021.

"The positive dynamics are recorded in the production of wheat in the agricultural parks under the Economic Zones Development Agency (@economiczones). In 2020, 35.2 thousand tons of wheat were produced on the #grain fields of the #agropark-s, whilst in 2021, the number was 56% more – 55,000 tons, and in 2022, compared to 2021 - 61% more or 88.8 tons," Mikayil Jabbarov tweeted.

Earlier, Economic Zones Development Agency head Amir Mammadov stated that Azerbaijan plans to create a state agricultural park. In this regard, he noted that a pilot project on the creation of an agricultural park, which will be located in Yevlakh, has already been created. He added that the agricultural park will be built on the basis of modern smart technologies.
